Aside from that, the whole thing was a bit of a mess. But a fun kind of mess. ....No, not really. The convention did border on disaster once or twice. But I can't say those parts were fun. Attendee badges were three hours late, Saturday night was shut down early by the hotel, and we managed to break an elevator. Though the latter might just mean that we made the con "official". You can't really have a furry convention without an elevator breaking down.
Oh well. Point being, I met new people, old people, young people, and mostly, really strange people. Which pretty much sums up everyone there. I'm sure I fit into one of those. I think.
Overall, I think it was worth it. Montreal was a nice city, clean, quiet, peaceful, and mostly in French, worth visiting again. The con was just short of 100 attendees, which isn't bad for a first try. And I picked up some new badge art for myself. Which reminds me, I haven't shown off the badges I've been collecting on DA. I'll have to fix that sometime.
Sadly, I've finished nothing while gone. Nothing. Nothing. So if I intend to catch up on art, I'm going to be busy. Unless, of course, I wind up staying lazy.
We'll see. Still a member of the seemingly immobile
